New Blog Template

I'm just about done updating and cleaning up this blog... so I'm sorry to anyone recieving multiple updates from here. Blogger is a bit of a pain in that what I preview before saving isn't always what it looks like once saved so sometimes there is a bit of tweaking that must happend. I'm hoping this blog template loads faster than the last one, I've also cleaned it up a bit to. If you see any problems, broken links, or such, just drop me a line or leave a comment. Roof Line Sketch

A sketch of a roof line from one of the houses along the coast in Ucluelet, BC. Most of the houses were cottage-like and had cedar shingle siding and roofs. Other houses were covered in wooden siding and painted in bright colours like yellow and blue. I got quite a number of photos from this trip... but having some memory card issues so I didn't take as much as I normally do. Going to save some pennies for a new memory stick.

Current Project

This is the painting that is currently sitting on my easle. Its an 8"x10" gallery wrapped canvas and I am hoping to be done it soon (fingers crossed). I've never attempted water reflections before, and although I am happy with the way its going, it is much more time consuming that I thought it would be.

Ladybug

I was going through my stack of finished paintings and realized that I never posted this one yet. I painted it earlier this year using watercolours for the background and acrylics for the bug. He's available now through art-agent or directly through me. I use paypal as a payment means.
