Frozen in Time

This one has been on my 'to-complete' pile for some time now... and I have finally finished it. I'm quite happy with this one and thinking of doing something similar on a larger scale. Well, perhaps once I have worked through that 'to-complete' pile a little bit more.

From the Sketchbook: Spring Hummingbird

I was in the mood for drawing a hummingbird the other day at lunch... with spring on its way its hard not to think of the blossoms and hummingbirds making their way back. I am happy with the way the hummer turned out... but I do think that I need to practice my flowers yet.

Warm Summer Boat, WIP

Got another colour layer on this last night (waited for some daylight to take the photo though.... sorry about the glare). I have most of the larger colour areas finished and I will be moving onto some of the smaller details to finish up the painting. I am hoping to call this one finished by Sunday night as I want to enter it into a show this summer.
