Interrupted

I am still working on the hummingbird painting from last week, though I do admit that the greens are driving me nuts! As I was having some morning tea and contemplating how to improve my greens I noticed that my tea cup was screaming to be painting. One cannot argue with that so, so I have (once again) interrupted my hummingbird painting with this (almost) completed cup of tea. The cup is one of my favourites, chip and all and has been quite the challenge in the bottom shiney/metal area of the cup. I'm almost done and just a few shadows left on the handle and on the cup. All in all, I'm pretty darn happy with this one.

And you should be! Great job on the metal and the tea bag! Looking forward to seeing it finished.

I love seeing the obviously ordinary made into something extarordiary!

Thanks Laure! The metal was a challenge... but a fun challenge :)
